About Christina
With over five years of experience in the mental health field and a previous background in education, I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University. My education, combined with my lived experiences, has profoundly shaped my perspective on the world. I am deeply committed to helping others navigate their personal experiences and understand the broader political and systemic forces that impact their lives—both positively and negatively.
I believe in the power of community to confront these realities, challenge the status quo, and raise awareness among those who may not yet fully understand these dynamics. As a woman who has faced her own mental health challenges and who is unafraid to speak out, I have encountered adversity that has only deepened my dedication to radical change. This journey has also fueled my compassion and empathy for others who have faced similar struggles. My mission is to support and empower those who, like me, seek a more just and equitable world.
I adopt a transpersonal, eclectic approach to therapy, recognizing that each individual's journey is unique. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, specializing in grief, loss, trauma, and substance use disorders. My expertise is complemented by a Certificate in Death and Grief Studies from the Center for Loss & Life Transition. I also offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), collaborating with Journey Clinical for prescribing services and care coordination.
I hold licenses as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), allowing me to provide comprehensive services to Colorado residents.
